Tremendous Turnout! The Lisbon Christmas Parade Committee and Howard County Farm Bureau are delighted to announce that The 2022 Great Lisbon FARMERS FEED THE HUNGRY Christmas Parade continues to be a tremendous success! The 12th annual parade brought out the most participants and patrons we've ever seen! An estimated 3200 parade patrons lined the route in anticipation of the parade! In the spirit of the season, our local farmers and equestrians used their creative talents to showcase their tractors, horses, goats, dogs and more. With nearly 40 local farmers from Howard and Carroll counties, and beyond drove their festively decorated tractors and farm equipment, and antique farm trucks in the parade. More than 150 horses, under saddle and pulling carriages and wagons, proudly made there way up the parade route! In addition, Days End Farm Horse Rescue held their annual Santa's Village with "Reindeer Rides" which drew more than 35 vendors attracting hundreds of patrons to do their holiday shopping and find some delicious treats. The Numbers Are In! The numbers are in! Thanks to you - our community sponsors and tractor and equine participants - the parade raised over $27,000! Our beneficiaries were presented at the Annual Legislative Howard County Farm Bureau's Legislative Dinner held on April 20th.
